# Web watch card

> Watches a web page and tells your agents when it changes.

A **web watch card** checks a page on a schedule and notices when it changes — a changelog, a price,
a status page, a competitor's pricing.

**1. Enter the page**

Paste the address and choose how often to check.

**2. Choose what to compare**

The **Whole page**, only the part **Between** two phrases (e.g. between "Latest release" and
"Older releases"), or matches of a pattern.

**3. Start watching**

The first check is the starting point. After that, every change is recorded with what was added
and removed.

With **Tell connected agents when it changes** on, every agent connected by an
[arrow](https://docs.neurosquad.ai/en/canvas/arrows) gets a message about the change — so an agent can react on its own: update
the docs for a new library version, say, or write you a summary.

**Check now**, **Pause** and **Resume** are always at hand. The card reads the page as it's served,
so text drawn later by scripts on the page isn't seen.
