Where your data lives

Everything NeuroSquad remembers — workspaces, cards, canvas layouts, notes, todo lists, settings, dictation history — is kept in one folder on your computer:

%APPDATA%\NeuroSquad

Paste that into the Windows Explorer address bar to open it. Installing a new version or uninstalling the app doesn’t touch this folder.

What’s not there

• Your code. NeuroSquad only remembers where your project folder is. It never copies it.
• Your agents’ logins. Agents use their own sign-in; NeuroSquad never sees it.
• Keys you save in NeuroSquad (OpenRouter, Telegram bot tokens) are encrypted by Windows and can’t be read back — not even from your phone.
• Audio. Dictation keeps only the text.

Back up, move or reset

• Back up: copy the folder.
• Move to another computer: copy the folder over. If your projects live in different places there, update each workspace’s folder. Saved keys don’t move — enter them again.
• Start from scratch: with NeuroSquad closed, delete the folder. Your projects aren’t affected.
