Is NeuroSquad an AI?

No. It runs the AI agents you already use — Claude Code, Codex, Qwen Code and others — and gives them a shared canvas, tools and notifications.

Which systems does it run on?

Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), from a ready-made installer on our download page . Versions for macOS and Linux are coming later.

How do I install and update it?

Download NeuroSquad-Setup.exe from the download page  and run it; to update, run the newer installer over the old one — your data is kept. See Install.

Do I need an account?

Not for NeuroSquad. You only need to be signed in to the agents themselves, the way you would in a normal terminal.

What languages is the app in?

English, Russian and Chinese. Pick one with the Language setting in Settings — it applies instantly. Until you choose, NeuroSquad follows your system’s language.

Does it cost anything to use the agents?

The agents are billed by their own providers, exactly as if you ran them yourself. NeuroSquad shows you how many tokens they use in Usage & costs, and a Budget card can cap it.

Is my code sent anywhere?

NeuroSquad itself doesn’t send your code anywhere. The agents talk to their own AI services, as they always do. Dictation runs entirely on your computer.

Can I use a different AI model?

Yes. Connect an OpenRouter key and run Claude Code, Codex CLI, OpenCode or Qwen Code on hundreds of models.

Can I talk to my agents from Telegram?

Yes — connect your own bot with a Telegram card. Only chats you allow can reach your agents.

Which agents can use arrows?

Claude Code, Codex CLI and Qwen Code. Other agents run fine in cards but can’t use connected cards yet. See Supported agents.

Do agents keep working if I switch workspaces?

Yes. Switching workspaces never stops anything. With Keep agents running when the window is closed on (Settings → System), they even keep working after you close the window.

Can two agents work on the same project?

Yes. To stop them getting in each other’s way, give them isolated worktrees or split the job into separate tasks on a task board.

Will my conversation survive a restart?

For Claude Code, Qwen Code and Pi — yes, they pick up the same conversation. Other agents start fresh.

Can I use it from my phone?

Yes — see Remote access.

Does deleting a workspace or card delete my files?

Never. It only removes it from NeuroSquad.

Is there a light theme?

Not yet. NeuroSquad is dark only.

Where can I ask a question or share an idea?

On our Discord server. Ask anything, report a bug or suggest a feature — the team reads it.
